 Welcome to the official website of the North Carolina Internal
Affairs Investigator’s Association. Our organization is committed to providing
training to its membership to assist them as they deal with the investigations of
administrative issues within their agencies and concerns from their communities. Each law
enforcement agency within this state strives to provide a high level of service to its
citizens. Whether an agency may be small or large, someone is given these tasks to assist
in maintaining that their members keep a high level of integrity and professionalism in
their daily duties. If your agency is not a member, please join us and provide your
suggestions and comments. Members are encouraged to make sure your agency maintains being
current in our association by viewing the membership status page on this site.
This year the Associations goals are to host (2) Basic Internal Affairs Schools (one in
the Piedmont area and one in the eastern part of the state), one-day training session,
annual training conference, and increase membership, . The basic school to be held in the
Piedmont area will be sometime in November. The details and how to register will soon be
listed on this website.
I am looking forward to serving as this years President. We are looking forward to a very
exciting year. I would like to thank Past President Rickey Wilson for his excellent
leadership and guidance that he provided to this association over this past year.
