Basic School Registration Form

Basic School  

The North Carolina Internal Affairs Investigators Association is pleased to announce its second one-week basic school for Internal Affairs Investigators for 2010. The school will take place in the Greensboro City Public Safety Training Facility from Monday October 18, 2010 to Friday, October 22, 2010.  The address for the Training Facility is 1512 N. Church Street, Greensboro, NC.  Instructors for the class will come from different agencies from across the State, and topics include what the new I.A. Investigator needs to operate in every capacity of the job, including; how to create and maintain an investigative file, The Personnel Privacy Act, how to interview police employees, critical incidents, and special teams investigations.  Costs for the school will be $175 for agencies who are members of the NCIAIA, and $200 for non-members.  Registration for the class will start at 9:00 am, on Monday, October 18, and the training will begin at 10:00.  If interested please complete the registration form and mail to Lieutenant Hovie Pope, New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at the following address:
